not true, i know someone who has one in the states (nyc area) and ive seen pics of another one in miami. also you can get away with driving non street legal exotics and other cars simply by using dealer plates. lots of people with exotics like these and gt3 cup cars and mc12's usually have some pull or know someone and can use their dealer plates.
or live in alabama

Haters (that's most of you) eat a dick. The pics are coming.

Velvett - the thread is going exactly as it should. Assnozzles are adding their own flavor. This thread is just a mirror of the people who post on it. Some of you are hilarious.

Mr dB - I got in and they made me sign a waiver. I didn't get to go over 60-65MPH, and I got to drive it for about 15 minutes around Amelia Island. It's very low to the ground, noisy, and it feels like it wants to run even in the lower gears. I didn't get to stress it in any meaningful way.

Still, interesting experience. I also drove a 2006 Maybach 57S. :)

You one upped me in the car world......bastard. :)

We picked up Maybach 62 that we have sold to an Exec from Graybar, and I take delivery on a SLR McLaren this Friday, but I'm sure the opportunity to even sit in the Bugatti will escape me for quite some time.......fucker. :)

The D Tags (for gray cars) only work in some states, not all. Lucky for me, they work in Florida and Missouri.

What color is the Maybach? I saw one in all black a month or two ago, and it didn't look nearly as snazzy as the 2-tone or 3-tone ones in the magazines. I'm still wondering who in Arkansas can afford, and is ostentatious enough to drive, a Maybach 62 and park it in a Kroger supermarket parking lot?

We've sold a few a two-tone blue one, black/gray, and the one we just delivered was Himalayas Gray/Silver. The best looking color in my opinion.

Do you know if the fellow who owned the green 250GT Lusso is still running it around in St. Louis? I saw it on the street early one Sunday morning there in the early 1990s, and a friend up there who restores Italian cars knew who it was.
