I don't know what to have for dinner!!

Man, I hate this decision every day.....it's a PITA...



To my mother in heaven -- that day in the kitchen when you complained how hard it was to decide what's for dinner & I said "how hard can it be?" I'm sorry! :verygood:
 
Try some oatmeal (1&1/2 cups), 6oz. banana, 2 TBLS of all natural peanut butter, and 1&1/4 cups of water.
Then nuke it for about a minute, and sprinkle some cinnimon on it, it's great, and different.
 
today's my off day.

dinner was all but two slices of an 18 inch pizza from the little italian guy down the street.

dessert; 1/2 gallon of edy's grand chocolate ice cream :p
 
I'd like to have TQpew's avatar for dinner but I think I'll settle for two turkey burgers and brown rice.
 
Cold leftover pizza from last night's cheat meal.

I guess that makes it cheat weekend. I overestimated my capacity for cheating last night.

A salad may be good....I usually have cott cheese & almonds.....but that would be different....

Ooooh I have some leftover shrimp too....a shrimp salad may be good.....

A shrimp and almond salid is a good prebed time meal. High in beneficial fats and protien, and alot of nutrients, and low in carbs.
 
Braised up some beef ribs last night. Kind of a morroccan spice thing going. ate about 20 cloves of roasted garlic with it. Take a slice of rib, spread on a clove of 'lic. I love to spread and lick. You know the meal is working when people involuntarily close their eyes and smile when chewing.

Good god I love meat! Did a lentil and toasted barley salad thing with it: wicked good proteins and barley may be natures most perfect carb. Drizzled a little of the braising liquid on the salad and a tablespoon of flaxseed oil. Actually worked fine, I was afraid the flax would taste like, well, flax, but the nuttiness of the salad just clicked with the oil.

Brought the lefovers to work. They have some black pepper ciabatta downstairs that will make one mmmmonster samich with a few roast peppers.

I miss cooking like I miss being seven years old. :rolleyes:
