I just got the call that after i taked to my exmother in law last night my grandmother passed away. on top of that im dead broke and cant afford to go to the funeral 4 hours away. So Im sad, guilty and pissed!!!!!!!
I didnt make it in time. I know she is in a better place and she isnt suffering but it doesnt make it any easier.
I'm so sorry to hear about this, sweetie.
If there is anything I can do, PM me. How much would it cost to get to the funeral? Let me know if I can help you out. *hug*
Sorry to hear for your loss. It's only 4 hours away? You can make it. You better go or you will be upset with yourself. Write you feelings in a letter and either leave it in the casket or leave at the cemetary on a later date. Every year I write a letter to my grandmother and leave it at the base of her stone on the day she passed. That way, I can keep in touch with her.
Sorry for your loss. I don't know how old she was. But, if she was a grandmother, she lived a full life.
You shouldn't feel guilty at all about not going to the funeral. I'm sure it was more important to her the times you spent with her when she was alive.
Damn sorry to hear that. If this had happened when and if my disability gets approved and I get all those months of backpay I would've been glad to help you. Hopefully someone else will step up, but if not keep your head high im sure they will understand.
Dakotah, don't fret too much. You loved her and that is what is really important. Don't feel bad for crying it is a natural thing to do. Just try to look back on her life and see the happy things as often as possible, don't dwell on the here and now. Above all never be ashamed of you feelings or showing them.
