I did massive shopping on Monday

Bought 25-30 shirts, 4 pairs of pants, and six pairs of shoes from Bloomingdale's. It was sweet. As I was being rung up the first time, the register died at the end...after so much shit. So the manager gave me an extra 20% in addition to the original 20% (last day of a sale) and original markdown. Sam, the shoe dude in a different area, was told about this, and said he'd give me 30% off any shoes which were regular price, and 40% off anything already on sale. I got two pairs of Ferragamo dress shoes which are totally rad. A pair of Zegna, Hugo Boss, Kenneth Cole (wearing now), and Cole Haan as well.

I hate shopping, but I was at this mall for almost 5 hours, and left almost an hour after Bloomingdale's closed.

Nice bor. I like having new clothes. I haven't shopped for so long, it's going to be esspensive when I do. Sounds like a good haul.

i'll probably return some. the bulk of those shirts are polos, because i hate wearing long-sleeve shirts, especially in warm weather.

good shit man.. what did you drop on all that?

what was bill before the discount and what was it after?

Ohhhhh....Ferragamo. :p

I can't wait until I'm on top of my game again and can shop like that again. SWEET!

~1000 for the clothes

~1200 for the shoes

without any discounts or sales, total would have been over 4 grand, i guess.

i talked shoes with sam for an hour or two, while i was trying shit on, being rung up, etc...old guy, been in the shoe business for a long time. very nice.

i really wanted some nicer casual dress slacks for the office, but apparently they didn't have any (??).

still lots more shit to get. as soon as the manager mentioned this discount, i started thinking what else i could drop some cash on, but i was tired and hot.

i dont think i have purchased 30 shirts in the last few years

proly 15-20
disposable after the summer

cockwharf, i did, in fact...he gave me business cards. he lives only a few minutes away, in bayonne. i'd like give him business if i can.

bino, it's all about a balanced wardrobe, having plenty of all the different things you want for all occasions. in this case, i think i have more than enough polos, but there are other things to buy. too bad i hate shopping and feel lazy. i'm basically trying to transform the way i dress on a regular basis. not that easy. spending the money is the easiest part.

njjuice, short hills.

do you work in the computer industry? 2200 is a lot to spend on clothes

Holy hell with spending that much on clothes..
I guess its a good thing I don't care much about that, and it shows.

LOL @ me getting most of my casual stuff at Target ..
