I can be watching and not paying attention whatsoever

I can have my eyes on something on TV - a show, a football game, a movie, etc. I can be viewing it with my eyes but very often i dont absorb what im seeing at all - mostly because Im sitting in front of the computer at the same time. its interesting how although i am hearing and seeing it, it's not making it into my comprehension. my husband gets mad because he thinks Im paying attention and when he asks me a question or when I ask a question about what's going on, he'll say WERENT YOU PAYING ATTENTION?

I have this same issue when i read but what's worse is when im reading, im not typically doing anything else and i still cannot commit the information to memory as my mind is usually always on something other than what im reading. i'll read a paragraph or page 3 times in order to comprehend

Yep, happens to me.

I can be watching something for 30 minutes, and it would go into commercial or something, and I could not tell you the show I'm watching. I'd have no idea. Try and guess, but nothing. Then it comes back on and I'd say "OHHHHH, yeah...."

Also, my wife and I are watching some show movie etc... and I didn't hear something, I ask "What did he say?" She replies, "I don't know, I didn't hear it" EVERY FUCKING TIME I EVER ASKK HER EVERY TIME I ASK!! ET! wtf?

Now we have dvr, so I just press instant rewind.

So, I'm thinking wtf is SHE thinking the whole time we're watching something? lol Nah, she's cool, but i wonder how she misses everything I miss. I'm starting to think she's a bot.
