I Bit the Dust In Walmart....

it was hilarious, but very very painful....

There was a huge puddle all the way down the towel aisle....I'm praying it was water :worried:

I have this habit of walking very quickly, so I was just power walking along to get some new towels and all of a sudden, I felt my feet fly up in the air and seconds later I was on the ground.....it knocked the wind out of me and shocked me so much, I just kinda laid there for a sec, then this guy walking along the main ailse came and asked if I was okay....

He went and got an employee and they got me up....I seriously feel fine and I think I just took a bad tumble......the Walmart Employee got her manager and she was very very nervous and apologetic.....I told her I was fine, because I know my body, and I'm fine. She gave me "contact info", which suprised me, I mean if the person looks like their not gonna sue, wouldn't you just let it go....

My friends think I'm crazy because I don't wanna sue.....but I feel fine and accidents happen....people are too sue crazy over negligence anyway.... too much litigation in this country imo

You know how much you can get for a slip and fall in the sto!

I admire your refusal to sue. However it seems like you have a pretty solid case against them. Don't know what I would do if I were in your shoes.

i find it funny that it took 2 ppl to get you up :) but its good you're not sueing, i think its ridiculous as well how stupid some ppl can be about stuff like that. I mean if you got seriously hurt then without question its time to sue, but you didnt hurt yourself or lose anything (other than maybe a little dignity ;)) so no biggie

That's good that you don't want a bogus lawsuit.

But Have it documented anyway, just in case you really do have injuries that manifest later on.

not that easy.

you have to find a lawyer, and then document it by going to a doctor like 2-3 times a week for almost 8 months. lot of time out of your schedule. Just like how it works in car accidents. Not that easy anymore. :)

yeash, no shit, you should at least score some free schwag out of it, for your discomfort, as well as ours.

:)

Think about what you're saying.

They can give her the most expensive thing in the store and she'll walk out with what?? $ 50??

Wait and see how you feel tomorrow. Sometimes pain from a fall won't come about until the next day. Hope for the best.

so you just layed there in the puddle soaking it up like a wet T-shirt contest?

slut.

Could have been my daughter, mother, sister, brother, friend. They should be held accountable for allowing such dangerous conditions to occur. Where I work there are surfaces that are too slippery and one day someone is going to fall and get hurt. I've brought this to thier attention on several occasions. I hope someone sues the shit out of them.

better go get looked at....the lady I know who fell really screwed up her back.......(of course she was a biggun..)..she required three or four surgery's....I saw pictures of her lower back and ass cheeks used in court and they were almost completely black...

go make sure you alright....
