they serve hot fresh made food. It's like a subway/convenient/gas station.

You orde the food on this touch screen monitor. You can take as long as you like to browse, and you dont have to talk to anyone to explain what you want on it,. just touch the screen with what you want and hit enter, and it's sent to the back where they make it for you.

Wawa has that now.

I just like to eat healthy and high protein and the protein to calorie ratio of a Subway doble meat Club just can't be beat. Not to mention the price.

Look bro, ive done the restaurant gig. If you don't mind getting calls from your 18 year old assistant mgr at 1am crying cause his cash drawer is short $15.00 and it's going to be a mess in the morning because little susie had her period and had to leave early, go for it.

This is not hand them 50k, show up once a week, and rake in profits. You will be there often, you will make sandwiches, you will live, eat, sleep, and shit the business.

If you like your free time, dont do it. If you want something to occupy all your time, go for it. Go ahead and think youll just hire the right people, cause no one will do it the way you like.

And besides, your fat ass will probably just eat all the profits anyways!

This is close to what I would say. I had a friend who owned 3 Subways and it was okay money but had all the problems rsnoble mentioned as well as high school kids dealing drugs out the back door. Fastfood is always going to beworked by teens and you are forced to entrust your investment to a teenager. The guy I knew made good money but it had its stresses - but all work has its stresses - is it a stress you can live with. I have a friend who has owned 3 water stores and those do well also in the right area. You want name recognition I think with any franchise, some may be cheaper but they are virtual unknowns.
