its time to stop, I am going to become a long distance runner and swimmer now.
 
what kind of shoes do I need for running like 10 miles a day? Keds?

Nothing wrong with a break from lifting weights.

I do it 3 months out of the year.

I just play sports...soccer/basketball etc... and enjoy myself. Go out with my friends to the beach....etc..

For one thing, it lets your joints recover from the heavy weights.

Concrete shoes,

that way you won't fuck up your joints by doing something silly like running.
 
Tis true HI. If you need to take an extended break or just want to change gears to something else dont let what anyone says stop you.

i hear ya though, i havnt gone in two weeks, im at a point trying to figure out if i want to just lift, or lift and mixed martial arts, but with the fighting im in pain a lot.

Ok, for someone who is heavier than the average long-distance practitioner (100-150#) I would go for a good motion control shoe, such as Brooks Beast, or one from Saucony, Etonic or new balance, they will give good support, control and milage, I would also stear clear of anything like Nike, Reebok or Addidas for your training shoes....they can make decent racing shoes, but they are not for pounding out the miles in training.

I went out and bought some fins today for swimming and some rollerblades to toot around on.

I am looking to stay around 162 at 4 percent BF.

Do the Ironman triatholon training. Do combat/fighting conditioning. Hell - play soccer. But leave the pilaites alone...
 
people like Madonna use Pilaities with great results, I think it will help keep my muscle tone., I also heard it is 10 times harder then lifting weights.

Keep in mind I will be using IGF1 with my new routines.,
