bm and spent thanks for the words. these are people who truly know me and for the record look at my avatar i will be 41 next month.
Yea, but you are playin' for the wrong team LOL!
Age, like many other "self-imposed" limitations are merely just a state of mind. The question should NEVER be "Why?", however, "WHY NOT?!"
I'll be 36 in a few months and I haven't even dared to dream for most of my adult life. Now, it seems that dreams are being created in my head that I never thought were even "allowed" in my mind, let alone dreams that COULD BE REAL GOALS.
I am beginning to see that those of us that go against the grain and dare to be and do more than "the average person" shouldn't allow "average people" to impose and project THEIR AVERAGE LIMITATIONS ON US.
It's funny. So many of us have what seems to be endless goals when we are in our late teens/early twenties and then somehow "life" happens and before we know it we are sucked dry of any lofty aspirations. These goals and aspirations are viewed as frivolous wastes of time by most. But then you read about and meet people that actually DID what most only dream of. What separates the average from the remarkable?
I am beginning to believe that it is that the remarkable people never gave up on their dreams. No matter what, no matter how many "friends" turned their backs on them, no matter how many people SAID it couldn't be done - THEY PRESSED ON and didn't stop until they made their dreams, realities.
10 years ago whodathunk that an eleven year old child would tell their mother that they wanted a cell phone, BECAUSE ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS HAD ONE (LOL)?!... 20 years ago whodathunk that VCR's would be considered outdated?... 30 years ago whodathunk that we would have regular trips to space on a space shuttle? etc, etc, etc
All of these silly little things are now COMMON KNOWLEDGE for us. All of these silly little things reality because someone wasn't afraid to dream and because they never gave up regardless of how far-fetched or craz EVERYBODY ELSE thought they might have been.
Glad to hear that you have been feeling better!!! and Good Luck to you Flexed!!
