It seems you can't do anything anymore ,without it costing a small fortune.
I went to the Dr. Today to get something for pain as i have had a nagging pinched nerve in my neck that has been killing me. Well the Dr. insists upon some X-Rays much to my protest, so i get X-Rayed not once or twice but 7 Stinking times!!!!

I get a prescription for pain & anti-flammatories $ 37.99

Doctors office & X-Rays $ 247.00

same here dawg...fuck thats what you americans have to pay? I'd hate to see your surgical/CT/MRI bills. It's sad that the world has come to commodifying health.

they gotta pay for that malpractice insurance somehow.

Isn't there a saying that in the states it's cheaper to die than go to the doctor?

Not good, however, on the other side of the coin, we have terrible abuse of our medicare system here which is costing the taxpayer a fortune. There needs to be a happy medium.

That's insane though, in Canada we don't even think about money when we're refered to a radiologist or whatever

exactly,I took that for granted most of my life thinking all countries had it

but ours is slowly changing and I bet will one day cost us aswell, where I live ambulance service is no longer covered

EXACTLY. That shit has only made a mockery of our legal system and really driven medical costs sky high. In PA many of the better doctors had moved out of the state because malpractice insurance was so ridiculous.

A few years ago I unfortunately had to take a ride in an abulance... 900 fucking dollars.

thats brutal, not nearly as bad here but still 300$ my parents had to pay when my sisters nose wouldnt stop bleeding for 4 hours and she was the only one home, and the ride is about 10mins if that

that must suck.

aww man RADAR that sucks :(, esp. about the vacation money.
and I know if takes a lot of money to feed your kid.. little bugger eats all day

The healthcare system in America is a joke. It costs you an arm and a leg to go to the doctor. My visits are $60.00 for him to walk in the room, ask a few questions, and leave. I do not have health insurance through my work so I am out of luck in that department. I applied for Medicaid and was told that if I was pregnant, an alcholic, or a crack whore then I could get it, but otherwise I made too much money. (I would love to see where all of this so called money is). Yes I was honeslty told those things by a caseworker. What really blows my top is that the Amish get Medicaid and THEY DONT EVEN PAY TAXES.

I do homecare for the elderly, and the way the healthcare system treats them is a joke. These poor people work all of their lives just to be told they will have to spend their pensions for pills, doctors visits, etc.

The healthcare system is nothing but a bunch of hungry piranahs looking for their next meal.

damn man that deductable is CRAZY!! I'm glad I don't have one.

Don't forget about all the fuckers who don't have insurance but insist on calling 911 for a fucking tummy ache. They live 1 block from the hospital. So $650 dollars later, not to mention the cost of service in the emergency room, they walk away paying nothing. But my fucking taxes go up every year to pay for these ass wipes. Bunch of fuck nuts.

i heard dave chapelle is going to issue us all canadian fake ID's if he becomes president, so we can cross the border into canada if we get sick

That just sucks....

My hubby was in the hospital for 10 days (intensive care for 5) and the bill was over $45,000 dollars....we had to pay $847 of it......
