Hypothetical broad/dood situation

KillahBee

New member
Broad is dating someone and has been for a little while. Broad meets some dood and starts diggin his vibes. Dood and broad hook up and start getting into each other.

Let's say broad and dood fall for each other. Broad tosses boyfriend to the side like Smurfy tosses Virgina Slims out her 5.0 Mustang window. Can dood ever truly trust broad, since dood only met broad cause broad cheated on boyfriend? I would think not. But then again, if you believe in true "love", then you have to believe that nothing should stand in the way of it. Yes? No? Mortadella?

how did the dude find out the broad had another dude inthe first place?

Was he made aware by her?

But nah when u find someone was a cheater it's hard to ever fulyl trust them.. u always wonder if it will happen to u when someone better comes along

NO.
A leopard doesnt change its spots.

you usually end up going out the way you came in. with her making you the Cornuto.

or maybe mortadella.

I was 'dood' once upon a time.
We clicked, dated for 3 years.
I ended up catching her cheating.

So you think someone should be banned from dating for the rest of their life if they cheated once?? I have cheated on almost every girl I have ever been with, mostly between the eages of 18 and 24. I have since been able to have a relationship without even thinking about cheating.

Then you have no room to complain if you ever get cheated on and as karma has it, more than likely, you will be cheated on. Probably when you are married to the love of your life.

Agreed on all parts but the marriage part. There is a BIG difference between cheating on a chick when you are 21 and cheating on a marriage. But yes, I am due and I fully understand that. I would kind of welcome it - I don't recall what it feels like to be heart broken.

Fair enough.

It just stikes a nerve with me about cheating.

Not acting holier than thou, but I have never cheated and it's always been something I've hated about people.

I have a friend who is married to a good looking, willing to do anything to please, wife and has a 1 year old girl.
Every chance he gets he cheats on her.
People like that don't derserve to be in a marriage. At least not a happy one.

I understand your cheating while young....I did a lot of stupid things when I was young I regret now. (and no I don't hope you get cheated on. )

I hear ya. It's not something I'm necessarily proud of, but not something I'm ashamed of either. I don't really believe monogamous relationships are natural or even healthy, but that still doesn't mean it's alright to disresepct someone you are with.

Hypothetical. Was talking to a friend about it this weekend and it got me thinking, probably cause I have always been a cheater.

And most of the time, no, she isn't.

Listen asshole, don't call me your friend anymore!

Cheaters never change..

If im just dating I make it CLEAR that its just dating. If its a serious relationship (like I actually let him meet my kids, my family) cheating is out of the question.

No reason to cheat, just move on IMO.

I would not be able to trust someone that approached me and was married or in a relationship. Am I saying once a cheater, always a cheater? No. But, it wouldn't be a healthy (mentally) situation for me.

I think it depends.
a person who is a cheater- say kb who admits to always cheating in the past- is that the same as someone who has been faithful their whole life, and then got pushed away in a relationship at a time when someone great came along?

people make mistakes, learn, grow. its different from being a leapard with permanent spots i think.

I agree with the meathead.^^^ People CAN change. It's not really changing, but growing up as KB stated he did. He's saying flat out that he's cheated all his young life. Do we believe him? YES. Then he says he does'nt cheat anymore because he grew up and values it since he's matured. I can believe that too. People smoke all their life and stop, people can do anything with the proper growth and maturing, experience, wisdom.. Do it.

Knowing myself. If i was really into this girl (hypothetically speaking) I would go for it and take the risk.

I have been in similar situations where I met a woman who was in a relationship but then became really into me. I never had the same feelings so I never pursued it but I could have seen a relationship working out with them had I been interested.

Alot of times nowadays a lady settles down with a dude she isnt really into , her reason may be convienence, she was on the rebound, or whatever . Those relationships are doomed.

And what about the "true love" theory??

I believe a such thing exists..

I was with someone whom cheated.. I didn't even know at first and the relationship with him and his X ended within days after we met. I have alot of trust when it comes to relationships mainly because I feel if they will cheat, then they will cheat. I'm not gonna sit there and worry my pretty little head over it. People can change, they mature they grow and sometimes they do it for the main purpose of getting out of a relationship because they don't know how else to go about it.

*I was kidding with my first post*

i don't believe in true love.

you meet someone and think this is true love.

then you start fighting, break up, move on meet someone else, and suddenly... thats true love.

I should have been more specific - I'm talking about an attractive chick.

I believe it exists. But I think it happens only once, maybe twice.

If you believe true love happens over and over again, then you are a fool.

Somewhat agreed, but specific to this thread, if someone believe in true love then they can't really condemn "broad" for cheating on boyfriend if it is in the name of perceived true love.

until she's with you and the next "true love" comes along.
just being the devil's advocate- i don't think you can ever really predict if anyone is going to cheat.

I don't really believe in the love theory either. But if someone does, then you really can't condemn cheating

I'm not condemning the broad. People do grow up & change. People learn from their mistakes.

If a guy and I clicked, and he had a girlfriend . . . I wouldn't be with him. I would always wonder, if he and I have an argument will he "click" with the next chick & cheat. Maybe that says something more about my insecurities, but its a situation I wouldn't put myself in . . . just isn't healthy.

I don't believe in cheating. You click with the person, fine. If it is true love . . . continue to be friends until you end the relationship. Then move on & hook-up. Relationships are meant to end, some end via death, some end in 2 weeks. That's okay. But, don't give the potential new mate a "test drive", then end the relationship.

If im into the female i would definitly give it a go. She would certainly have to be wifey material though. Even though she left some dude to be with you I would hope to be confident in myself to make sure a thing like that wouldn't happen to me and sure she understands that. But the question you haveto ask yourself is do i WANT to settle down. I think thats where the true battle begins.

Very few of "us" are destined to be with one person our entire lives....let dood and said broad have their way with each other...

If she did it to him, she'll do it to you.

lol @ true love.

True love only exists in movies and in lonely people's minds.

Having not read any responses, Im sure this has been covered:

If new dude knew about old dood when he met chick, new dude knew what he was getting into

if she is wandering and meets said dood....then true love has no "play" here. it never existed in the first place...can you condem her for that?...no.

Do you mean it never existed in the current relationship or the affair? Or both?

Alot of variables would have an influence on how I feel.. For one is the person actually out 'looking' ?

LOL

Its like dating a chick who doesnt work out and then bitching b/c she wont go to the gym with you

Hot doesnt matter imo.

If new dood knew......

damn.

This thread could/should be applied to 90% of relationships, because almost every girl my friends and I met have a bf/husband/so..ect (if she admits, denies it, or my favorite...he is a loser and miss treats me...whaahhh)

Most girls (and alot of guys) are to insecure to be alone. They like have a guy lined up before they let the other one go.

I agree.

But there are situations where a girl happens to meet a guy that kind of knocks her on her tan young supple ass. She wasn't looking for it but it found her.

That filthy little miscreant

current: :) good posts this morning GF... ;)

I see.

Shadow, I agree with you. But that would require the new dude to look in the mirror and blame himself for putting himself in an unhealthy situation. That is very rare.

You meat a chick who is with a guy she isnt super into and he also is not laying the wood out properly. Its as easy as throwing a ball in the ocean...to snatch the hoe up.

When is your book coming out?

also, when are you coming out?

Actually, I have been offered to write a book on something related to that. But, I have a hard enough time convincing the younger guys in person. I guess its just something we need to learn on our own

This is an interesting dilemma. But the "once a cheater, always a cheater" applies here too. It ultimately depends on how strong your faith is in the notion that people can "change".

I agree. If one person is miserable in the relationship and feels lost, then finds someone to treat her/him right, it might not be considered cheating

If your husband told you the following:

No, hun, it wasn't cheating. You let yourself go, all you do is nag, you don't respect me as a man . . . oh, yeah you don't put out anymore. I was MISERABLE and LOST & found Sheila (while still married to you). She treats me right.

Are you telling me you wouldn't consider that cheating?

I was not even thinking of myself when I typed that out :worried: I would be pissed off and hurt. But I ment hypotaticly, if both people in the relationship are miserable with each other. If its only one person, they can talk it out and hopefully make it work without incidents

Yep. Is having that attitude worth it?
I didn't say it was mine. I'm the guy who used to having his heart broken. But for those who do, I offer the following:

No its not the same. If someone's SO has already basically ended the relationship in substance if not in form, then he/she probably doesnt care other than ego-wise that the other person is stepping out. There's no betrayal, there's no devastated feelings. I'm talking about where 1 person is happy as a clam in a relationship and thinks everything is fine, and his/her significant other cant keep their pants on outside the relationship.

And a pattern cheater is different than a special case "cheater" that you describe. The pattern cheater is the leopard.

Also, youthful indiscretions almost even dont count. Lots of people are stupid and selfish as a teenager but grow out of it.

I've known a number of girls (& been involved with a few) who _always_ have 3 guys in their lives emotionally and sexually: The immediate ex, the current bf, and the future potential bf. That sucks.

I was that way. I let my down and its a relief.

Is it the other person's responsibility to knock them down? Doesn't seem fair to me.

But if you want to get to know the person better, then the walls must be broken. I didn't say it was fair either, but sometimes, its worth it. :D

So test the person. I guess, that does happen (whether you know it or not).

Yes, I agree with you, sometimes its worth it.
