Worrying is like a rocking chair, something to do but gets you nowhere

very true, but this is a character flaw and it runs deep in my subconcious. its not always a code red though, just part of the time. ask the gorgeous silverstar, shell back me up.

I googled my illness when upteen dr's could not find out was wrong with me. I'm glad I did cause I found the answer.
There is nothing wrong with reading the net for medical advice as long as you can have common sense about it

Very true! I don't always freak out, but at times it gets the best of me. I would rather not know about people dying young or people dying from cancers that could have been caught early would have survived. That is the shit that plays with me and makes me freak at times when I feel real "off".

I get freaked out inspecting insect bites coming home after every hike in the Scottish hills in case I've been bitten by a tick & contracted Lyme Disease. :worried:

Yea, even in the summer I wear lightweight combat trousers tucked into my boots and a long sleeved alpine top when hiking so as to reduce exposure area. The good thing is the Scottish hills where I hike are pretty barren & lacking in marshland / long grass so not as problematic as it is stateside.

How is your situation currently with the disease?

I'm up and down. Was on antibiotics for a while, then got off b/c they make me so sick.
I believe my lyme is chronic so it's a matter of managing it and not trying to just kill the bacteria. I think the bacteria has done the damage.
Thanks for asking :-)
Keep an eye out for any rashes

lol :) It's funny how your symptoms can always lead to some crazy life threatening thing. lol

Shoot you know what freaked me out the most ever? 2 yrs ago I had lots of nerve issues and weird shocking shit going on in my brain. The nurse prac. told me that she wanted to send me to neurologist because she thinks I could have MS!! I freaked out for weeks until I got in to see one. The neurologist was PISSED that she scared me like that and told me that. I don't have MS, but at the time thought I did and was screwed.
Now you know why you have to stay under the 2 drink maximum.
