Hush mail alert!!!!

WARNING: Keep an open eye on your account, i opened mine today and discovered that my messages with shipping info were all raided. Meaning someone went in and read them. This is a big security violation. Trust me in the fact that NOONE has my password. NOONE.

hushmail is a scam. according to them, everyone has a secret key and even they cant read our messages. ive presonally logged on to my hushmail account and found myself in someone elses inbox. rbb from anabolex actually got into 2 accounts by accident and forwarded messages to mods to prove it.

It's easy to tell when someone went in because all messages from a day when i have not been logged in have been read. You can tell that because when a message is unread is shows up in bold letters, and after reading it, it turns gray and normal lettering, not bold.

I have always wondered about "hushmail". If I was say DEA or some other organization and wanted to track email wouldn't it be wise to set up an email service that is encrypted so high that no one can decipher (bulls**t) and then advertise it on sites like this one. Just one of my paranoria type thoughts

Nothing is secure. Unless you talk in person in a pool with no one around for 2 miles and you have a umbrella and a load stereo they can hear you. Even then they can hear you.

Check this out, about 10 months ago there was this source, he was an awesome bro, he had a hushmail account, and they(hushmail) found out he was doing illegal business using that e-mail account so he got hes hushmail e-mail cancelled.

How did this happen? Because hushmail staff checks accounts at random from time to time.

i bet none of you are behind proxy servers though..
if you are not then they can get your ip address and find out who you are and exactly where you live if they want to ..but the question you have got to ask yourself is if they can be bothered .The answer is probably no

Secure Emails

I don't trust Hushmail at all, and the only reason why I use it is because so many other people feel safe when using it.

Look into using PGP encryption when sending personal info, this is the best method in my opinion.

Therealj is correct, it is a glitch on the icons. If you click on 'inbox' it redraws the screen correctly. Hushmail is VERY secure. (May not always work, but it's secure!)
