i got my power back last night. had to stay in a hotel for 2 nights.

I didn't even know there was a hurricane going on. It was windy, and there was some rain, but I never lost electricity, the basement wasn't flooded, and no trees fell on my house. I got up the next morning, and looked at my front yard. Just leaves and twigs, which i raked up.

No Big Deal.

Just got my power back last night.Our area & the outer banks were hit the hardest.A friend of mine now has a tree in his bedroom.Nobody had powere for days,people were fighting for ice & generators & waiting hours for gas.It sucked.There are still alot of people without power & not all the schools are open yet either.Dont ever wish for a hurricane.

well, at least now when he brings chicks home, they won't complain about him not being able to get wood.
