i have a universal gym at home, which i use regularly, but i have been doing squats at school because they have weight there. I am about to go on spring break and want to kick my training up a noch while i dont have school. My only problem is at home i only have a leg press on my universal machine that only goes up to 400 lbs. Is there a huge difference between squat and press if i am looking for vertical training. Should i go out and find a gym?
Also i am currently only 15, and i geuss i should look into this for the summer. Is it difficult for younger people to get memberships at gyms etc? Because i am beginning to use free weights more and more and ive noticed that they are very expensive to purchase.
