HST for mass?????

Can't say definatively it is the best routine for mass but it definately works for me. I've tried 5 X 5 and DC along with others and HST works best for me, right now.

Rep Range for me during HST is:

2 weeks of 1 set of 15 reps
2 weeks of 2 sets of 10 reps
2-4 weeks of 3 sets of 5 reps
then 2 weeks of Negatives

Just posted a sample daily diet for ya too on my journal as requested

werent u bashing hst training/trainees before? and u didnt even know how it was performed?

what gives?
 
You need to learn more about HST. You don't stick with 6-8 rep range. You start at 15's and work your way down.

Personally I like DC better, right now i'm training like a typical pro bber though.
 
With AAS I did the
2 weeks of 1 set of 15 reps
2 weeks of 2 sets of 10 reps
2 weeks of 3 sets of 5 reps

then did 3 weeks of 10's and 3weeks of 5's and now I am doing 3 weeks of 10's and 3 weeks of 8's. All of these modifications are on the HST baord for is you are using AAS.

never ever bashed it....just said it wasnt for me because I like to train more than 3x a week....but, my brothers routine incorpoartes the same ideas.......somewhat...so I was seeing how people reponded..........relax.......as I am finishing up 5x5 (LOVE IT) wanted to try a new routine.....what do you think of the rouitine I posted???
 
I tried a lil mod version of hst and actually liked it as a change of pace work out, and plan on doing a full version of it when I get back to the states

lol...............i am relaxed............i was just confused................ i dont post much anymore due to limited internet access..... i didnt read the routine,
 
Jkurz, please go read on the HST website, man. You'll learn all you need to about the program. I'll provide you the link. Read and grasp all the science behind it. Read the studies, look up the stuff you don't know, and absorb it all. It's based on the physiological principles that cause muscle growth. None of this 'I grow best in xxx rep-range' shit. The muscles are stimulated the same in all people. What causes growth for me, causes growth for you. Mechanical load. Frequency. Progressive resistance. Strategic deconditioning.

Halfaclue - how have your gains been with HST while on AAS? Give us details.
 
Maybe we should just bump that thread where we spoon-fed the entire program to you, and then at the last minute you decided you weren't trying the program.

I'm sure there's a lot of info on that thread.

The routine was never ever bashed by me..........I just decided to go with 5x5 and it worked out great.......that leaves this one and DC stlyle as the only ones I havent tried..........I want to hit them all to see which one gives me the best results...........all I want to know is how the rotuine I posted compares with this......pretty comparable?

I'm not sure if you "bashed" it or not, however you did ask for help, and after a weeks worth of help and answered questions, you just said "nevermind, not doing it anymore," thus wasting all our time.

I'm not sure how comparable it is. Do you work the full body three times a week? Only going to failure once every 2 weeks? Is there strategic deconditioning?
