Ahhhhhhh... I love the smell in the mornings this time of year until spring. It's starting to smell like fall a "little" bit. Give two or three more weeks and it'll really smell good. Give it four weeks and i'll be in heaven!!

You've reminded me, I need to get out into the fields and pick those blackthorne berries soon else there'll be no sloe gin this year. The blackberries have produced a shade late this year for us and one of our dogs has taken to grazing the ones she can reach.
