how's this 5x5 look for back day?

why regular pulldowns then reverse pulldowns? are they close grip so they are working the lats more? i would add some pullups in there for more back width. switch it up too. there are so many good back exercises (t bar row, dumbell row, barbell row, wide grip pulldowns, close grip lat pulldowns).

yes, i use a closer grip on the reverse grip pulldowns than the normal pulldowns... feels like it hits the lats harders.

anyone else?
 
decent but too many sets, keep the higher rep sets to a total of 4 max, why not do 1 set of each of those exercises once?

cool, i'll try that...

btw needsize, just wanted to give you props. had tremendous success with this routine in the month and a half i've been using it. it's given me a newfound love for the gym

and nothing more.


yup... i've been getting real cool results and my back day looks like this

deadlifts 5x5
pullups 2x8
b/o rows 2x8

and a set of shrugs if i feel like getting extra queezy
