How's My Routine ? Need Revision

Mon: Chest
5-6 excersises, 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps
20 mins cardio

Tues: Legs
6 excersises, 4 sets of 10 reps
20 min cardio

Wed: Tri's / Bi's
4 excersises each, 3 sets of 8-10 reps
20 min cardio

Thurs: Back / Shoulders
3 excersises each, 4 sets of 8-10 reps
20 min cardio

Fri: Chest / Bi's / Tri's
2 excersises each, 3 sets of 10 reps
20 min cardio

Weekend off unless cardio or make up day.

Your routine is off. I can tell you want big chest and arms.


what are your goals?. This routine needs to be completely re-tuned. So were you actually seeing results???

If intensity is suffice you SHOULD be overtraining..........hmm
 
I agree with JM.

You are overworking you chest. Try something like this:

Mon: Chest & Bicep
Chest: 3 exercises at 10-12 reps
Bicep: 3 exercises at 10-12 reps
Abs

Tues: Back & Tricep
Back: 3 exercises at 10-12 reps
Tricep: 3 exercises at 10-12 reps

Wed: Legs & Shoulders
Legs: 5 sets of 8 on the Squats and then 3 sets of 15 on the standing calf raises
Shoulders: 3 exercises of 10-12 reps

Thursday: Rest

Friday: Repeat

damn 2thick thats MY routine, how did you get your hands on it? lol. my split is mon/wed/fri.

Try this for a while RABS you wont be dissapointed.

It is a standard routine. Nothing besides Squats and Deads are worth doing on leg days (coming from a powelifter and former Olympic lifter) and I doubt most people would like to do both squats and deads during the same workout anyway.

P.S. He has calves, too.

Intensity is key bro, if you do enough "damage" during your squating, moving on to things like leg curls, leg press afterwards can be counter-productive. Ive gone close to 4 months just doing bench/deads/squats. 5 warm up sets then 3 sets to failure. My whole body grew in porportion regardless of the fact i didnt work small muscle groups.
