how would it change your life if you made 400k to 500k year? what would you do?

I already have the 3 things in my life that make me happy, firefighting, bodybuilding, and my family. It would make it so I did not need a second job though. I'd move my family into a safer neighborhood w/out as much gang violence and shootings. I'd invest some money in real estate rather than the stock market. Faster turn around and at this time I feel real estate is a smarter investment than the stock market. And last, I'd start my own gym and start a program to help troubled kids turn their lives around w/ fitness. Nothing would be more rewarding to me than to take some kid who was a nats ass away from jail, and help him turn his life around through something like fitness which would build his self esteem and get his head on straight. I'd love to pay back the sport that has made my life and image what it is. And let me tell you guys something about rich pricks. Every year we do a boot drive for the fire dept, where we stand out in the hot sun all day and collect money for Jerry's kids. Most of the people driving the BMW's, Mercedes Benz, and Lexus cars will roll their windows up and turn their head the opposite way making believe they dont see you. Then you'll get somebody in a beat up truck on it's last leg who will stop in the middle of a green light, and dig into their pockets to give you their last buck. I'm never going to let money turn me into one of the people who quits giving a shit because they made it, no matter what!!!

To make 500K I would need to work much longer hours than I do now and be with my kids less. It would be a very tough thing to do.

Every guy I know who is rich spends or spent very little time with his kids in their first 10 years.

The richest friend I have is worth over 100 million and he is up at 6:00am every day and comes home at 10:00pm...he loves to work and his kids know it.

Anyway I guess I would put my kids in Private School, get a bigger house and a fster car!

I'm not sure, I'm pretty good with money I can make it, save it and spend it so I guess there would just be more to play with and I could open my store sooner and without any help which would make me really happy and the better half could be the house frau which we'd both love.

As a side note 500k isn't rich but who' complaining.
