A trick I do is from the DC training diet. I cut off carbs in the night (at 6 or 7), and then do my cardio before breakfast, and then take creatine mixed with gatorade before breakfast. I figure my muscles will be trying to take in any carbs it can, and that should shuttle in more creatine. I also take in a little more than recommended. My view is that the glass can only handle so much and will be so full before being wasted, but if you keep putting a little too much in, then you KNOW the glass is staying full. Good luck.
