I'm wondering how i should eat to keep the fat off and not lose much muscle when i'm not training for a while..a 2 times a year, like finals and holidays i find myself needing to take a break from the gym to do other things and to give my body some rest. i stay just active with work (swim instructor/lifeguard) and just living an active lifestyle...I'll stay outta the gym for mebbe 3 or 4 weeks during these breaks. So i know i shouldn't eat as much as i would while traningn cuz i won't burn these calories but what abour protein and carbs..i was thinking about eating more like a regular decntly healthy person during these rests..like 4 meals a day.. a little less protein then usual cuz i won't need it to repair anything..some more carbs too feel energetic and low in fats..its this good
