How to deadlift???

HEY!! I have just added deadlifting into my workout routine, and i was wondering what the proper form to deadlift was!!..Should i bend my legs??? or should i keep them staright? does bending or keeping them straight work different parts???...what muscle groups should deadlifting work???? Also does deadlifting add mass???? or just strength??? plz answer ..thnx wUn
 
Depends on the deadlifts you are doing, you can do straight leg deads which is done with legs only stightly bent. You have full blown deads and you bend down and hoist up the weight. You need to concentrat on arching the back to avoid injury. Do a search in this forum, a few guys have posted small vids of themselved doing deads, they will help show you decent form.
