Exactly, well said my southern brutha. My old man use to tell my mom, and me of course on occassion, that if we wished to find sympathy, it is found in the dictionary between SHIT and Syphilis. LOL. I loved my dad, if he was still alive I'd punch him square in the fucking grill.feelings are for pussies

That's a classic.

I am going to make a confession here Bino. I have indeed lost a fight once in my life. In 1976 when I was born, the doctor slapped my ass till I cried. I am still to this day looking for that mutha fucker......... to be continued.very typical for EF male posters.
never lost a fight, never had a chic fug him over, unable
to feel emotion, etc, etc.
IMHO, a cover for a overly bitchy feminine bro who cries alot
Comments from some of the guys just reinforce how happy I am that I am no longer married to an alpha male type ...
True, that, but there are plenty of guys (and girls) who keep shit to themselves unnecessarily, or even block unpleasant emotions, or cover them up, or stuff them down instead of expressing themselves and examining the feelings for what they are, and where they come from.check bino's post just above your's. I think he's definitely on to something. Alotta dudes probably just posing for the benefit of other male readers here.
As women we know a lot of the machismo bullshit evaporates when it's just a man and us alone. Mr. hard playah drops a lot of that gay shit when he realizes he doesn't have to keep posing for all his boys. Now guys will tell each other (and often even themselves) their behavior around us is the totally fake part, but the actual truth is really somewhere in between.
i'm a guy. . .so, i'm really good at expressing anger. . .any of the other ones are kinda hit-or-miss. . .although, i must say that having children (and a wonderful wife) has mellowed me significantly, and i've found myself being a lot more open and honest about my feelings with those people that are close to me. . .
start by not making faggy threads like this.

There is a very sound reason for being able to verbally express your feelings: Other People Aren't Fucking Mind Readers! A huge amount of relationship miscommunication stems from frustration because you feel your partner doesn't "get" it. Unfortunately, sometimes the frustration is compounded by the person themselves not understanding exactly what emotion they are feeling. If they don't understand themselves, how can their friends/family/partner be expected to understand them?
“Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love.”

Agreed...
We are emotinal beings. what we wish to convey the most is the emotion. However, we have to use words in order to do that and many times it gets lost in translation.
ie. (just an example)
Man or woman works all day comes home to not so clean of a house and no dinner. Gets all pissy acts like a total ass and very angry. But, really what the person is saying is: I don't feel loved. I worked all day at a job i hate etc etc. but you don't love me enough etc etc... Make Sense?
I believe it can be harder for men as well. Men are far more emotional the most woman but we aren't taught how to deal w/ those emotions properly. We're told to "cowboy up" and "boys don't cry". etc. So instead of saying we're hurt we say Fuck you!
It's easier for many to be angry then hurt. The irony is, that we're angry, because we're hurt.
Personally, i think all everyone really wants is to be loved. I don't mean some BS version of love, but a pure love...
Notice how it (love) is 1st patient, then kind..
Thats my 2 cents CDN, so like 1.73 cents US![]()
