How often should you work out the abs?

I've always done them 1x per week, with weight, and its worked well for me
 
Guess it depends what you're aiming for. I would say most people want toned abs more than huge bulges sticking out of your stomach.

For bulk, once a week hard. For tone, 3 or 4 times a week.

So, like the man says, treat them like any other muscle.
 
Another Question:

On what day is it best to train them?

My Plan is like this:

Mo Pecs, Triceps

We Squats, Delts

Fr Back, Biceps

you're abs showing also has to do about genetics..so ..yeah..sum ppl have abs showing, washboards and sixpacks, and have never touched a gym floor.
