I always make eye contact and I smile. Most of the time I say hello or 'good afternoon' also.

I am always suprised at:

how many people do the same in return AND

how many people look at me and say nothing.

I either smile and nod or smile and say hi. I do this several times a day. However, for some reason it seems people avoid making eye contact with me. :(
 
i'm a smile and either a nod or a greeting kind of guy. however, this methodology was developed when i lived in Pennsylvania. now that i live in the NYC area, people are often taken aback or off guard by this action.
 
I always smile...many times er day, and usually say something if she's a cutie..Nothing gay just hi usually...
 
if i'm looking around, sure. lots of people on campus, so i guess it happens more than i even realize.

it's strange that i'll be walking past some guy i don't know and they'll give me a nod or say "what's up." guess there's more guys out there than i thought that think i have a cute ass.

well, as long as they're on the bottom and we use plenty of lube, i'm ok with that.
 
I always look passer-by's in the eye and almost always smile ;)

I at least nod...

Its funny, I teach my kids not to talk to strangers, everytime, I actuall say "Hi" my daughter say's .. "Mommy, who was that" I say "I don't know darlin, I was just telling them Hi"... and I know whats coming up next. :rolleyes:

Children always get a smile from me. Anytime I'm in a store and I'm behind someone with a kid I can't help but smile. :)
 
All the time.
I smile in passing.

Sometimes I wink or make a funny face at a kid.....
I had a baby cracking up in the line at the grocery store. Nothing better than a baby laughing its ass off.
 
I look straight ahead and whisper "[size=-2]I'm gonna kill you[/size]"
and when they look @ me, I pretend like I didn't say anything. Great fun :)

If I notice a hot girl and she is looking at me or smiling... I'll smile back...

I also start up conversations with strangers a lot. Friends/family joke I knoq everyone and everything about them hlaf hour after I get anywhere. But most people would be shocked how willing strangers are to talk to other people
 
I don't really do anything unless our paths completely cross. Like if I'm in a store and we are reaching on the same shelf, or if we almost bump into eachother or something. Otherwise I stick tomy own business. I tend to get a lot of nods from guys though. I don't know why. Even if I am out with a pile of people, a guy will walk by, not pay any attention to the rest of my group, but then toss the nod out at me. You know the nod. It's the "Hey, what's happening bro? If shit goes down I got your back dawg" nod that you get and you have no clue who the person is. I get it constantly. Even my wife and friends notice it. They are always like "Oh, you know that guy?". Fuck, I don't know.

oh, i'm not shocked... people are always laughing at how much people tell me for no good reason. i have had strange people completely glom onto me telling me their life story.
I'm like "jerseyart, don't you have to GO someplace?"

Sure, why not. Have`nt always been like that though.

I like it when it`s done to me, so it must be nice to the people I do it to. Plus it`s hard to get away from those damn single mothers at the preschool.
 
I usually smile or at least nod at someone as I walk by them.
 
I smile at lkttle children all the time, they are so cute. Like puppies. I only smile at adults when I can sense that they will smile back, because I hate being spurned.
 
I smile all the time.:)
But I've found out that sometime people take it the wrong way.

They think I'm trying to flirt or pick them up. :D

If it's a girl that's attractive I usually look in their eyes, just to see if they can take the eyefucking........

Usually they turn away, I'm just that intense for most people I guess.....

If it's a female that's really not my flavor, I tend to look and half-smile.......or nod.

I never "look down"......unless the female is just so horrid that I can't bare to keep looking.....

eyefucking = looking through a person's eyes in to their soul.......

You have to have the eyes to really make it burn, and if you do it right, women find it both exhilarating and frightening..........but later they find it sexy.

Oh yes, I've had it, but I didn't know this is what it was called.

They do, but often women will put up walls so you can't see their soul.

I break down those walls, Pam.........and that's why they break the stare or look down.

Depends on what type of mood I'm in if I want to go out of my way to say hi. I usually say "hey" if the other person makes eye contact, and if it's a chick I'll smile while I'm at it.

I smile at everyone.. hey maybe that's why ppl get the wrong idea... it's amazing how much just a smile can make someones day. As corny as it sounds :heart:
