How Much overtime do you work?

If that is the case .. then getting your job done faster and efficiently should also entail shorter work hours in the week.

A concept, of course, that isn't found in corporate america. Usually it instills jealousy.

More often than not -- long hours is usually the result of inadequancy and incompetence.

I've been trained from the beginning to get shit done fast. It's why i get the big bucks.

fast typing speed doesn't hurt either.

The compensation of the company I worked for is so screwed up. Basically designed to fuck over the employees. Thank god it's only a summer job. Almost quit on the job site a few times already but it seems to be getting better.

I'm salary too but can work OT. Summers tend to be busier for me. That's a good thing.

I used to work 10 hours a day, every day Mon-Fri.

50 hours /week normally, then I'd work an extra 2,3, 4 hours extra sometimes. I would never get paid "overtime" pay, just my regular hourly pay.

Working 70+ hours in 5 days can get to you when doing construction type work. No wonder I'm so lazy and burned out now.

I feel your pain orb,last night the idiot who was suppose to take over on site for me didnt show so I ended up working 15.5 hrs as oppose to 7 at straight pay,and then tonight I had to stay 3 hrs later then planned because that ass didnt show again,and you guessed it,strait pay
