Because the question of "value" comes in.

What do you mean? Do you mean values as in morality? Maybe it's because I have never made some high amount of income but I don't see a reason why it's so "taboo" to tell everyone how much you make. Hell, if I made 100K+, I'd ve proud to admit it. Even now that I'll probably only make $8/hr working as a vet tech, I'll still say how much/little I'm making.

IT'S ALL RELATIVE

~110-130k a year. I don't care if anyone knows how much I make or don't make. I starved for a long time squeaking along and have had to bust my ass and sacrifice a lot to make what I do now. I live at work, literally. I am paid to be on job and live on a rig 24/7. I make a lot of sacrifices now, which is okay being single. However the time will come when I will want to be at home with my family. Until then I am going to ride the boom and stockpile and invest so I am ready for my future.
All in all money means shit. It is nice to have, but quality of life is better.

The "value" I meant was referring to the superficial account of how much you're worth... ie: you're worth $8/hr.

I agree with you though if you're fine admitting how little/much you make then so be it. However, the "taboo" you mentioned is deeply ingrained within some of the societal class and segments of social status revealing where you stand against one another.

i make enough to buy food

LOL.

18 people voted $100K or more.

In the US, less than 10% of HOUSEHOLDS earns over $100K. And yet, here on Elitefitness.com, a board comprised largely of single guys under 30, 30% of the voting group is in this range.

LMAO.

Bors - if you don't have it in real life, why tell strangers that you do? More importantly, I want to start hanging out with all of our EF success stories.

I haven't laughed this hard in a while.

LOL. It's just Stooooopid to do that; then you can never meet anyone off of here or your horseshit will be evident.

I wish you could look at who voted for what. I would want to hang out with all these "financial titans" we have on EF.

I have 100 employees, lots of them have degrees, even law degrees, andnot that many make $100K or more. Except for the original group that came here from NY....no one under about 35 years old earns that.

Strange.
