I am sure I will hate it when I have to pay for my own gas.
But my royalty checks have risen with the cost of oil as well so it evens out. Makes me want to go buy more mineral rights.

Same here plus I put octane booster in it. The octane booster seems to make a tank last a little longer beside helping keeping the knocks down at say 6900 rpms

Regular is going for $2.19 a gallon. It's $2.11 at Sam's Club which is where I am filling up these days. This weekend was the first time I said "Holy Shit!" out loud at the pump.

The 76 station by my house is at $2.35/gal for 89 oct.... for now. The lawmakers in Olympia want to add a $.15 gas tax to raise money for the roads that they'll never fix.
