I was taking Metamucil about 3-4 times a day but the soluble fiber count is totalled in my carb intake and adds up to 9-12g/day. I want to take psyllium husk since it's all insoluble fiber (which has no impact on carb intake.) My question is, how many g do i take? 1 pill only has 500mg. Am i better off takin the powder to get the dose up to around 10g aday.?
