If i were to move 40 minutes north I could buy the exact same house for $140k...... It's too far from the beach though.

My parents pad, San Diego, CA. - 4 bed 2.5 bath 2400sqf. 3 car garage, Pool, Jacuzzi, 1/2 acre, sweet view - $697,000.00 (had it appraised last month)

I have seen brand new houses in Old Bridge 4 bedroom 2 bath 2 car garage 2000-2400 for 234,000-289,000.

I can't decide if i want to live closer to the job or the shore but i want to be close to both.

It's a restored victorian. Built in 1872. All those houses had a lot of rooms in them. It's not big, big, it's fuckin tall big though! LOL!!!
