thats about a hundred litres of fuel, so im thinking its either a petrol/gas hybrid and therefore two tanks, or a twin tank four wheel drive

Is that range seasonally adjusted for changes in driving conditions?

Did you include or exclude MPG for long trips since they can produce results that create a great deal of variation from your normal pattern of driving?
