How Much Cardio?

I weighed myself earlier to find that my current weight stands at 12 stones 7lbs. I have been out of training for a long time due to injuries. I was going to go straight into weightlifting but I think I will just stick to cardio and aim to lose some bodyfat first. Also, my back is becoming more and more stiffer. I have concluded that the weight gain must be linked.

Anyway, I am going to try do solid 5 days cardio.

I was just wondering what you make of this :

15 min on bicycle
15 mins on cross trainer
15-30 mins on punching bag

Maybe 10-30 laps in the swimming pool.

I want to lose 2lbs minimum a week. I'm not worried about muscle loss, as I don't really have any as such.
I can't run on treadmill as my knees and ankles generally suffer from the negative impact.

I may take up boxing 3 days a week as i feel this will help. Also, is doing more than an hours cardio bad?

Can you please give me ideas on how to refresh and keep my cv routine interested so i don't lose rhythm.

Throw out all plans. You aren't going to be able to maintain that.

The only thing you are going to be using is your exercise bike. Do a comfortable pace for about 40 minutes four times a week for three weeks. Increase by 5 minutes after that each week until you get to around 1 hr and then more slowly get it up to 1:15.

And 90% of this battle is diet. So you may want to go ask on that board for some guidance in that area.
