How monitoring Glucose gets you the Olympic Body

do some research on the internet. then post

'For one thing, it is well established that GH administration causes insulin resistance. '

Yea, so what? Eating lotsa sugar makes you insulin resistant over time, too. HGH increases insulin secretion and that prevelance of more insulin is what makes you insulin resistant.

Still, nobody can find one single study or anything where an insulin receptor does anything but shuttle glucose. Nothing else fits in that receptor either.

I do agree with Animal that its not the GH in and of itself that causes insulin resistance. As I mentioned above GH causes lipolosys which increases blood sugar (its a documented side of GH use). This in turn causes increased insulin release. The added insulin is required to overcome the exo GH.

High carb diets also cause a state of insulin resistance because there is always an abundance of insulin in the system.

To go on a little further, look at when GH is primarily released. After heavy exercise and early morning. What do these have in common? Well after exercise blood sugar levels can be very low and muscle cells depleted. Early morning GH bursts also take place after the sleeping (and fasting body) have used up a lot of blood suger. Is it a coincidence that prolonged periods without food and heavy exercise, both of which cause a heavy drain on blood suger, occure prior to large releases of GH?

I agree with that too. Animal's contention however that the insulin receptor does nothing but shuttle glucose is only a half truth as I stated with supporting evidence. everything else you said makes perfect sense.

where is this post on the insulin receptor ---Juice? I would like to read it. You have alot of knowledge worth listening to.

Even if you think that people should get labotomies.

You claimed no studies existed that showed the insulin receptor did anything but shuttle glucose. Well, you're wrong since I just posted one. What more do you want? Do you argue just for the sake of arguing even with irrefutable facts to the contrary?
