Just getting into the hunting/shooting thing. Just passed my Firearms Safety, and Hunter Safety programs. Currently waiting for my PAL ( posession and acquisition license ) to come through 20-60 days.

It's crazy how many hoops we have to jump though, just to purchase a firearm, and the ammo. OH CANADA!!!

Someone didn't take care of the animal properly. Once you kill a deer, you should field dress the beast asap to get the meat cooled down/drained of blood.

They probably gave the meat away becuase they knew it was nasty tasting. The process of spoiling starts as soon as your bullet/arrow hits.
