Excluding your family/spouse/S.O.
Someone you could trust around your spouse/S.O. and know w/o a doubt that they'd never try any shit.
Someone you know w/o a doubt that you could trust with your life.
Someone you know you could trust with the very last penny you had to your name.
I have one...I consider myself lucky...or perhaps "blessed" would be a better term.
Describe your relationship with them?
My friend and I sound exactly like Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmons in the movie "Grumpy Old Men"...our phone conversations almost always start out with something along the lines of...
"What's up moron?"
"Not much, putz."
We've been best friends for over 25 years now. We've had one serious falling-out (over a girl back in high school no less...go figure) that lasted about 3 years.
I was with him the day his dad passed away.
I was with him in the hospital the night he nearly died in a motorcycle accident, and I was the only one there who would wipe the vomit off his chest when he got sick from all the meds the hospital had pumped into him.
We still argue from time to time. He can still be the biggest pain in the ass I've EVER known, but I wouldn't change a thing.
Your turn.
