How many "true" friends do you have in your life?

don't even see them very often just know I can always trust them with anything and they'd be there to help me with whatever when i really needed it

3. I was moved when all of them came to my aid when I was going through my divorce. I talk to them about once or twice a week on average. 2 are married and the other one lives about 30 miles away. It's great to know that there are people that care about you. I have friends here too and their words of encouragement have lifted my spirits many times and I hope I have done the same for them. Most, I have never talked to on the phone, but they have touched me nevertheless.

I have 2, one of them I have known since the day my parents brought me home from the hospital (when I was born) 29 years ago. I consider him family. The second I have known since like grade 4, we have helped each other with a lot of shit, I’d probably be dead without his help when I was younger. Even though I have met some good people in my adult life, I have a hard time trusting people that I didn’t grow up with.

When my life has been turned upside down and I'm at the end of my rope. I can think of 4 people who have always picked me up, dried my tears, and got me back on course. They would drop everything to be there for me with just a phone call. They are my true friends.

I have a bunch of good friends who I can hang out with, but they are kinda lacking in either one place or another. One guy, tho, is pretty damn cool, and I've known him for a long time, so I guess we're getting there.
