dam you guys text alot...the most i did was around 500 a month. I dont have a good texting phone so its annoying to me.

I text some during the day only it I want an answer to something real quick...no drawn out conversations
Same for me...I would rather shoot out a quick text then listen to someone babble on and of for 20 min about nothing.

I have a grand total of ZERO!! don't even have it on my phone. The whole thing is complete BS if you asked me. There's only one or two times where I could see it as useful, during business meetings and you can't leave to make/ get messages. Other than that, pick up the damn phone...
When I'm in court, I could get messages w/o having to listen to my phone after I get out of the courtroom, that one thing, but that is rare that I can't step outside.
I really can't see why peope who COULD use the phone, don't, they sit there and messasge, message, message, message, message, all the while other people have to constantly hear the damn ring/ ding/ tone saying that they have an incomming message. Damn inconsiderate if you ask me, especially since a 2 minute phone call would have taken care of the whole conversation.

Jesus...what do you do, sit around all day texting? Fuck that. I have a job lol. I send maybe 400 a month - I like texting because it gets things accomplished quicker than a phone call. That's kind of negated if you're basically having a phone convo...over texts. Its all about the quickest solution for me.
So about 200 texts a day??? Jesus! You guys that are sending 500+ texts/mo must have those full qwerty keyboards on your phones huh? I am a very inefficient texter. I guess if I had fingers the size of a 12 year old girl I'd be better at it.
I disagree that texting is always easier than calling. It takes more effort than talking. When I am talking, I don't need to look at the phone like I do when I'm texting. I can also wear a headset and not have to hold my phone, now I have two hands free. If you're so fucking busy that you can't call, I don't see how you can tie up both hands and your eyes texting while doing nothing else at the same time. I can do a lot of things while I'm talking.
I send maybe 50 texts a month and 49 of them can be solved quicker and easier with a phone call.

that's BS Hayez, if you have that many freakin texts, your having a GD phone call, one, line, at, a, time. So your saying that you WOULD have had 5K phone calls but because of the texts, you cut your time down by not talking, uhh hhhh whatever....
I'm 27, and I still think the amount of time you spend texting completely defeats the purpose.
i still have over 3000 minutes a month used..so add that onto another 6000 text i dont have to hold the phone up...im probally savign myself brain cancer..lmfao
Im in sales ...my communication skills are just fine..my job requires me to be a professional liar so my conversations usually go pretty well on my side...lmfao
That's 12 an hour (or 1 every five minutes), constantly, if you are up 16 hours a day for a whole month. That's not counting the time it takes to read and type replies.
I think it has to at least be sending and received, because that's just insane to be on a phone almost half of your waking hours.

I used to get a lot, which was a problem because I only had 100 free. My cell phone was company-paid but boss would make me pay for text over usage. My gf used to text me constantly. Boss would actually print the bill and hand it to me. Sometimes it was $15-20 a month at $0.10/message. So embarrassing. That was before the gf had Internet at home.
