How many sets per bodypart are you guys doing?

I havent asked a question like this in quite a while, but how many sets per bodypart are youguys usually doing when on, and then when off? You can split them up and say how many for each different one you do. I have a 4 day split and I think im over doing it and thats what is hurting my results. But I look at some of your guyses log and can imagine how I would grow on how little sets you guys do. anyways show me what your plan is like
 
chest: 5-6 sets bench, 4-5 sets incline dumbell, 3 sets incline machine, 3-4 sets decline hammer machine, 3 sets dumbell flies.
back: 4 sets pull-ups, 4-5 sets barbell rows, 4 sets t-bar rows, 3-4 sets seated cable, 3-4 sets hammer pulls.
legs: 13-15 sets
bis: 10-12 sets
tris: 12-15 sets
4 days rest on each part. I always try to go heavy, except on bis. Maybe this is too much. I partially tore my chest last week so I need to figure something out. On and off seems to be the same.
 
It depends for me if I am doing a push / pull day IE. Chest /bi's then its 10-12 chest 6-9 for biceps. If my wrkout falls like chest tri's day then 8-10 for chest 5-7 for triceps but usully i go Back,chest, should. legs 10-15 tri's bi's calv's 6-9
 
I know everyone is different but i dont do that many sets at all.
After a 4 set warm up
Chest- Bench 3 sets 6-7 reps Incline dumbbell 2 sets 6-7 reps Flys 2 sets 10 reps
Back - Deadlift 2 sets 6-7 reps Chin ups 2 sets 6-7 reps (weighted)
bent over rows 2 sets 6-7 reps Shruggs 2 sets 6-7 reps
And so on

I really feel it the next day and at the same time my weights are increasing, if my strengths/weights increasing then i must be getting bigger

Like i said it works for me. i have done 14 set chest workout but it didn't help.

2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 2 days off
big muscle groups 15 sets, small muscle groups 8 sets

While off:
Train each body part once a week

While on:
Train each body part twice a week
