Depends on the movement. Pulling 8 - 10, pushing 6 - 8. Form gets sloppy on heavy pulling movements.
 
depends on exercise here too. Most large movements I do 5 reps. I do 8-10 for certian exercises like calves, side laterals, dent side laterals etc.
 
for instance:
Chest, BP 6-8.....incline 10-12, fly's 12-18
Biceps, BB curl 6-8....inlcine DB curl 12-15
delts alway 10-15 reps
back similar to chest.
squats, heavy sets of 6-8 and light sets of up to 18 w/ leg ext of 12-18.
 
After a warm up of 2 sets 10-15 reps I will hit it hard for 3 sets of 3-5. As soon as I can get a solid 3 sets of 5 I push the weight up.
 
Hey, I usuall progressively overload myself in a 12 week cycle. First few weeks is 10-12 of mainly the multiple muscle group exercises, progressively though my reps change from week to week, increasing the weight,to 8-10 then 6-8 then 4-6 until I max out. I never change my supportive exercise reps from around 10. That is how I get stronger even if I am not juicing!! But hey, I am a powerlifter.

Also agreed - the legs I tend to do higher reps on legs 8-10 sometimes 10-12
 
I try to keep the first 3 sets to between 6-12. If I can't do six, I will lower the weight a bit.

I will finish up with a 4th set of 15-20 to get some blood moving in there.
 
set 1 : -----> Rep . 12
set 2 : -----> Rep . 10
set 3 : -----> Rep . 8
set 4 : -----> Rep . 6 ------> Too heavy weight , maby need some help
 
I usually do between 8 and 10, sometimes i go heavier, even to as low as three reps, but those sessions are few and far between. I used to go maximum weight i could get for 4 to 6 on bench every workout, now i have even changed that, for sake of my poor shoulders. I usually do one heavy chest day, then the next week I dont push as hard. This has helped my joints a lot, and even helped my pec development somewhat I think.-WULF
 
yesterday I did bi's at least 15 reps, most 20 reps on the straight bar for 5 sets. (only did the bar itself) then did hammers witgh 25's for 10 reps each arm for 3 sets then finished with preachers 20's for 6-8 reps each arm for 2 sets, I was completely burnt and I'm sore as fuck right now
 
for the guys who are tryin to lean out with no AAS...what is the best training regimen...10-12 reps per set , or still tryin to go heavy as possible with 6-8reps per set??...i miss being on AAS and i have no strength ego to keep my reps from 6-8reps...right now im more comfortable with 10-12 reps and have added cardio 5x a week at 40min tread-walkin...yeah it is kinda weak but i think im lookin more attractive now than when i was big and bloated...im jus goin for the lean fitness look...

Hey bro, when I was leaning out I was doing pretty good with 8-10 for chest, I really tried to burn out my arms with drop sets (only did them drops like twice a week) but usually did anywhere from 13-18 reps. Some days I just had more drive to get 18 with somewhat heavy weight. Damn I wish I had that endurance again. When are we gonna work out mother fucker??? We're on break!
