A guy here at work just sent it to me, the shit is amazing in that:

1. It's pretty accurate with the selections it makes about what music you will like
2. It's free
3. It works though firewalled environments, most likely uses some very common ports
4. it streams flawlessly.

me = lovin it

give it a try

Wish this computer had some speakers that actually worked! Looks like a good find.

I've been using Pandora for months.

My "The Who Radio" station plays more Beatles and Kinks than it does Who though...

I started off by throwing it a "soft toss" and entered Dead Kenendys. It's playing "too dunk to fuck" right now. I'll see how far down the indy label bands I can take it.

The thing is to keep interacting with it. Whenever it plays something like you want to hear, give it the thumbs up, and when it plays something you hate, give it the thumbs down. In time it learns from your interaction.

Some of the choices are really off the wall. For example, on my "The Who Radio" station, it'll go through periods where it keeps playing recent indie rock, or '50s country, or crooners like Sinatra or Perry Como.

is there a way to tell abotu several artists or musical styles for one channel? So far you tell it one artist and it makes that the main base for the channel but what if i want to make a more eclectic one or want to includde three or four artists as a "base"?

how do you give it a thums up or down?

Press the "Guide Us" button.

Or, if the song has already come and gone, you can click on the song icon.

Very cool site! K for you.

Though it is irrating that you can't forward to the next song as much as you want... you are pay for subscription which is understandable.

Didn't work too well for me. Their suggestions were way off for the most part. I think I like 1 of the 5 bands they suggested. Oh well maybe I am just fickle.

Cheers,
Scotsman

OK, question for the I.S. dysfunctional. You state this will work thru a firewall - but will it raise any eyebrows on bandwith? Usage? Accidentally leaving a backdoor open for spam/hackers?
