How many of you don't live near beaches?

I have the best of both... 30 mins from the rocky mountains, and a lakeside "cabin" in the mountains to go to when I want to hit the beach or go hiking...

Where in Colorado are you?

Did/do you go to CU, I was there from 95-01.

I live in Denver... I go to CU-Denver. My GF's parents live in the foothills just outside of Boulder and they have a lakefront cabin up at Grand lake... So, I am usually in the mountains or foothills every weekend... CU (Boulder) has a great campus... I would love to go there if it wasn't so expensive to live in Boulder!

I live in Arvada and work inbetween there and boulder. Was just up in lefthand canyon on friday.

That's cool... I guess I technically live in Aurora, but it is right on the border of Aurora and Denver.... I love having the mountains so close!! During the summer, it is great for hiking, and in the winter I go snowboarding almost every weekend!! I can't think of anywhere else I would rather live... except maybe Germany during Oktoberfest...
