How many countries national anthem make ref

The bombs were directed at us, not shot by us. Francis Scott Key wrote the poem from his sloop moored next to a British man of war as Baltimore was bombed by the British in the war of 1812.

But go on with your silly self.

you didnt answer what I asked instead you get defensive and take it off topic.
are you Polish? then tell me about the Polocks anthem.

I only asked a simple question so dont get gay on me.

example:

Australia's national anthem makes no mention of war, neither does Switzerland's. Norway makes references to fighting but says they're "armed to guard her peace," much like Canada's national anthem where "we stand on guard for thee"

The repetition of phrases like "Long live the king," in Saudi Arabia's anthem ensures the monarchy is deeply entrenched within the culture.

Get used to it, you'll be listening to it a lot in the next month. Canada will win what, three golds?

why are you not flying the american flag in your profile?
are you a yankee or a polock?

France's national anthem is bloody and about war, but doesn't explicitly mention bombs, at least not in the first (most famous) verse.

Canada's national anthem will have a bomb reference in it once they develop explosives technology.

Scotland's un-official national anthem "O Flower of Scotland" in typical small mindedness makes reference to fighting with the English, but not bombing them.

God so pathetic at times.

a lot of it probably has to do with how the country gained recognition...i.e. whether shit was just divied up, colonized and given away, or a war for independence was fought.

Germany still uses "Deutschland Uber Alles".... except they removed the lyrics; just a melody now - no singing.
