When and how much complex carbs should you consume on a normal day when the rest of your diet is clean and you're getting 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight by way of six small meals throughout the day. I've heard alot about intensity of workouts when you consume complex carbs, which burn more fat. I normally avoid all complex carbs completley until recently, is having a small bowl of pasta or potatoes around lunchtime and that be the extent of your complex carb intake for that day, what benefits/detraments will this do for me. I workout in the early evening, I do 1 hour of free weights and 30 mins of cardio.
