How Many Black People are in Positions of Power?

As long as blacks keep voting for democunts, they will never be seen in positions of power. Only those who no longer see themselves as a victim and cultivate their god given abilities will thrive. The victim mentality of the democunt party will not allow for that.

Folks, I said it once already.

Koffi Annan, runs the free world AND he's black.

Bingo

Theres that, and also black people are usually only out to further there own cause. You have to be out to work for everyone in order to get into that position of power.

and lets not pretend that this dosent go the other way around.

If this had always been the case we wouldn't be having this discussion.

You're right. That's why I get tired of hearing about the "first black" this and that. For example, this coach who got hired by Mississippi State is touted as the first black head coach in SEC football. I'd like to think he got hired not because he's black, but because he's good and knows how to coach football and win.

He'll sure as hell get fired if he's bad.

Condelezza Rice, Colin Powell and other Republicans fit your criteria as well. They work US foreign policy, period. Contrast this with liberal blacks and other minorities in the democratic party that are always advocating women's rights, gay rights, black rights, etc, etc.

Advocating women's rights and gay rights only helps black people? Uhh......okay.

Check my post again. I said blacks and other minorities. Patricia Ireland speaks mainly only of women's issues, Barney Franks of Gay issues, Jesse Jackson of black issues...

You were agreeing with Slavikhavik, who was speaking specifically about blacks. I simply say again that if white males had historically "worked for everyone" there never would have been a need for black/women's/gay rights activists. Last time I checked there were still significant pay differences between white males, white females, black males and black females of equal education & skills.
