How long will the muscle be anobolic after training?

When I do some heavy sets like 4x8 reps almost till failure. For how long will these muscles be anabolic with a proper diet? Does ON and OFF make any difference? because you are recuperating faster on, does the muscle also stop growing when the soreness is off?

The question is: for howmany hours does a certain muscle hace an anabolic response after training
??
You know you didnt ask a simple question bro

well anyways
the muscle is catabolic after training is over not anabolic

Your muscle anabolic state and time depends on a few factors: Rest, nutrition, and if you are taking any steroids or not, your genetics, and how bad the muscle was damaged during training

DOMS delay onset muscle soreness, usually peaks on the second day after training. This is a condition that is caused by your muscles being in an catabolic state during and after training. There is debate whether this is better or wrose for muscle growth. Some people get DOMS and some dont, in short i dont think it matter if your muscles are sore or not. For the most part your muscles will keep on growing even after DOMS is gone.

The fact is bro, there isnt an answer to your question because there are too many factors. The best thing i can tell you is that your muslces are most anabolic when you are sleeping

muscle soreness has NOTHING to do with growth just like you suggest. muscle soreness has everything to do with your muscle being poorly adapted to the workload, that is volume & frequency.

That and the fact that if you are constantly getting sore muscles, there's a good chance that you're diet has gone to complete shit.

Here's a bit of advice. After training you immediately start recovering. However this can be maximized by eating carbs and protein within 2 hours after working out since this is when your body's nutrient intake is at it's peak.

Actually for size, eating as soon as possible after working out would be best. If you're on the chunky side I recommend that you wait an hour or so after working out to eat because your metabolism will be slightly elevated(hopefully burning fat) from your workout. As soon as you eat, blood rushes to the stomach to digest your food and your metabolism returns to normal. Since I gain weight easily, I prefer to ingest a high quality protein shake about an hour after working out-followed by a high quality meal of solid food an hour or so after that. Your post workout chow is your most important meal for the day. Eating or drinking a protein shake 2 hours or so before training is fairly important as well. Keep in mind that anybody can go to the gym and train an hour a day. That's the easy part. It's what you do during the other 23 hours a day(resting, eating every 2-3 hours, and minimal day to day stress) that truly determines your progress.

In short, if you have a ballbuster physical labor job that doesn't allow you to eat every 2-3 hours combined with anxiety over paying the bills and onkly sleeping 4-5 hrs a night, you're fucked-even if you workout consistenly every day.

There. Now nobody can say I'm mean to newbies that ask questions they should already know the answers to.

I wonder if this is true. I say this because it has been shown that taking Ibuprofen shuts down protein synthesis and suppresses muscle soreness after a workout. So there is a connection with muscle growth and soreness. There is definitely with intensity of a workoutand and muscle growth and intensity of a workout and muscle soreness. So I think saying that soreness has nothing to do with growth is an iffy statement because the workout that causes the most growth also causes soreness.
