How long should you wait?

I have been lifting for 11 years and recently had to take around 8 months off from an injury sustained in an accident. I'm fully recovered from the injury and have been in the gym consistently for the past two months. I have done some cycles in the past (deca, sust, dbol) (test, var) (test, tbol) and have the itch to do a test/tbol cycle so I can be back in the condition prior to the accident. My gains in the gym have been great, but do you wait until the plateau or start sooner? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

should prob start when you plateau but if you feel ready to start then start.
the only thing is that muscle memory allowes you to get back what you had faster then if you never had it to begin with, so if you cycle and grow to fast you could injer your self.

Muscle memory is incredible, the gains made over two months have been great and kept my spirits high. It was very difficult returning to the gym and to start all over again when you know how much weight or how many reps you USED to do compared to the present situation. All the really bad soreness is gone and the usual DOMS is back, so what the hell, a tbol spring fling may be in order.

If you think your body is ready to go the extra mile, I would go for it. You have plenty of previous training experience. The gear will help speed up the muscle recovery process. How would your cycle look? Have you considered using deca or eq for joint & collogen properties.

ok my oppinion isnt "professional" and i admit it may be bad advice but id hit it as soon as i felt the injury had gone long enough that it wouldnt reoccur

Reach your plateau first. Doing it sooner will probably just take you to that point anyways, while if you do it after you reach your plateau it will help you break through it. Thats my opinion.

3-6 months.
Why do you say that? How can you put a time like that on this question. He said hes fully recovered some two months now. He has good training experience & has done some cycles before. There can be a very big physchological process going on as much as a physical thing here IMO. I dont see why he could not take on a light cycle as proposed (test/Tbol) to help aid his further recovery & get back into his previous shape.

although im no MD, let me throw my 2 cents in...whenever anyone is thinking about doing gear, it is common practice to have a strict 3-6 months in the gym to allow the body time to get used to the strain and tears on the muscles/joints/ligaments and once you go on gear, you train 10x harder than normal which causes that much more strain and tear...now coming off an injury poses an issue...although he is fully recovered, he had a lapse of 8 months from the gym and has only been back for 2 solid months now...after that much time off, the body has to get used to the abuse working out does to it and if he goes on gear now, 1. his body might not be able to handle the load put on it and 2. by pushing the limits this soon because of gear, he might come to find out that although the injury is fully healed, it might not be able to take the stress and he could reinjure himself...so IMO, it's better to wait a good 6 months after an injury to see how the body reacts to the regular training workload before intensifying it that much more

and to the muscle memory point...yes, muscle memory is good but that doesn't have anything to do with your tendons, ligaments and joints because trust me, i suffer with tendon and ligament damage every day of the week in both of my knees and shoulders...better to be safe than sorry is all i'm saying so take it for what it's worth

After reading through the responses I have decided to wait until at least until four months of solid lifting. The last thing I need is to be off again from another injury that I could have easily avoided with some patience. I also wouldn't want to waste a cycle if I couldn't train accordingly.

Thank you all for your advice and responses.
