How is your thursday evening?

Mine is going well, just chilling listening to Portishead... and getting ready to crash in a couple of hours, put moving off till tomorrow, only got 2 friends helping me out, but trying to distract myself from that... supposed to be doing research, but I"m months ahead of deadline and finishing up. Is everyone having a laid back, tranquil thursday night?
 
You didnt see the other thread before it was cleaned up MIB style did you?

I'm happy I got some work done today, fear that I have a migraine coming on and would love to go to sleep but the eyes are tragically wide.

I dropped 2K on scuba gear today...and I'm sitting here fiddling with the dive computer trying to figure the damn thing out. Good times. :)

Dude I'm sorry but community dynamics I'm not off on, if he's not a huge part of the identity of this community... then I'm not asian... and yeah last time I checked still short and brown, eyes aren't really slanted though, so 2 out of 3 aint bad... but its not a big deal... I"ve had a wonderful thursday... and I can't sleep yet so here I am which I really dig it here so, no complaints.

My day was pretty good. I'm slowly packing up to go home tomorrow and see the family. The long distance calls to my wife and kids were getting pretty expensive. Had I known that I would miss them whenever I leave town this much, I wouldn't have taken this contract.

Okay, I would have; but I would of got a long distance calling card or something.

The comment about the family was about me going back to my wife and kids. They live in one part of Canada and I'm in another right now for a project. I come out a few days a month and now I'm getting ready to go back.

My extended family is either back in the US climbing the social ladders or back in South East Asian climbing trees, eating coconuts, and running away from Tsunamis.

yeah i ate Uno's pizza with my aunt, then we watched So You Think You Can Dance and also Hopkins. now im laying in bed talking to you guys. if i read hotzie's threads, it makes me fall asleep. wish me luck

Okay, chris and I were apparently talking about two different things... apparently I missed out on the drama apparently and I was talking about something else... but see enderje you are not indifferent you have a family you love... i think stoic is more of an accurate word to describe you.

Bino I grew up in the midwest... probably why I dig alt country so much, but my parents live vegas... and I have to visit them every so often... its weird man... pretentious and shiny shit without substance is what it reminds me of, generalizing of course but I could never live there.

lol... I have a hard time locating my parents at their college reunion... they all look the same to me too.. but I grew up in the midwest... I was the only asian in my highschool.

Angel, story tellers wield all the power in this world... what is a story but an interconnection of different disparate ideas connected through narration to give meaning... this is the same composition as the human personality...
consumerism... the ultimate story... wars are based on stories... everything is based on story... even the story of the self, thats how consumerism operates... his story.. history, her story would have been better...
but my point is any person that can tell a good story is a person who is very infulential... and what is power but the ability to influence... so story tellers are usually powerful people...
 
i was a defensive all star at my kickball game. two unassisted double plays and a nice catch

i made it to the bar without crashing into any other cars tonight ( i had an escort, seriously LOL)

then when i got to the bar, i had some broad that was on my nuts all night.
some other stupid bitch took it upon on herself to break this little pleasantry up (she was hotter). and i took the bait.

i went to the bathroom, and lost my power. bitch went home with another dude that lived in her building lololol. i lost the logistical battle (lived too far). bithc #1 was already gone at this point.
