Veggies DO count towards daily carb and calorie intake. BUT, most green veggies are so low in total calories, and their carbs value is so low because of the amount of fiber.

Stick with veggies such as green beans, brocolli, asparagus, spinach, lettuce.

I eat an unlimited amount of these veggies because to make a REAL impact in your daily caloric intake, you will have to eat a TON of veggies. But they still do count. Eat too much of ANYTHING (a surplus of calories) and you wil gain weight. It is just very hard to get a surplus of calories with veggies.

To get the CARB COUNT of veggies, subtract the g's of fiber.
