How healthy is pork compared to Chicken for BB'ing?

I like Chicken and all but christ I'm getting burnt out on it and tuna. The George Forman can cook a mean pork chop (just pork, salt, pepper, garlic powder). What's the protein rating compared to Chicken? Is it just empty calories is it better for me then red meat?

Thanks

I'm not sure about this...but isn't ham high in sodium? Could cause more water retention, which could be good depending on how you view it. More strength, but may raise the BP.

B-DAWG! Hey man I started my cycle. :)

I kinda figured it was higher in sodium. That I can live with. I can eat twice as much pork as I can chicken. Going though a 12 pack of chicken breast a week, I kinda am sick of them for now. Needing a change.

Thanks bulldog (u know y)

LOL! No problem man! Good luck, and let me know how everything works out!

Yes, ham is high in sodium, but that's because of how its prepared. Pork tenderloin is an excellent option, even for those on a cutting diet. A well trimmed pork tenderloin has about as much fat as a boneless/skinless chicken breast.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, but pork tenderloin still has more flavor than chicken, just make sure you don't overcook it.
